Aetna HMO and PPO Medicare Advantage plans give you access to over 200,000 providers nationwide, this can be a major advantage to people who like to travel or have dual residents(snow birds, etc..). worldwide emergency coverage is also included with Aetna. Aetna offers the only seamless network of coverage for a PPO & HMO plan in NY City. Aetna includes the Silver and Fit gym membership with all of their plans.
The seamless network of coverage is Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Maine, NJ, NY, Nevada, Ohio, PA, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia and washington DC.

with Empire Blue Cross Mediblue PPO plans leaving the counties of New York, Queens, westchester and others, Emblem Health along with Aetna are excellent replacement Medicare Advantage PPO Plans for 2013. Please check with your doctors to see if they accept aetna medicare PPO plans or EmblemHealth medicare PPO plans. EmblemHealth plans are less expensive and offer better local benefits as compared to the Aetna Medicare PPO plans, however Aetna offers nationwide in netork coverage and that can be an advantage to people who travel or have second residents outside of New York.
